VISIT ITALY
Rome is the capital city of Italy. The
inner city is so ancient and charming, not the least the ashtonishing Vatican City.
Wear long dresses or trousers, and begin by
stepping into the line of visiting The Vatican City, and St. Peters
Dome. If you have the time, then go to the Vatican Library and
museums, and imagine how knowledge was important, and how it worked,
before the fast computer programs created a small world.
Rome was founded 753 BC by the twins Romulus and
Remus. One of the best known Romans is of course Ceasar. Go to The
Typewriter, and enter - just beyound that - the Forum by Colloseum.
At Forum Ceasar was killed. At Colloseum many people were
fed to the lions.
Once important places. Now holes in the ground.
Lots of small, narrow streets. Pizza restaurants
where you wouldn't believe it. But in the Pantheon you will be
able to whisper sweetheart words to your love at the one wall, and she'd
be able to hear it standing at the other wall. Beware, because everyone
can listen in.
The Spanish Staircase is another attraction.
Summernights people sit there. And they sit there. And they keep sitting
there.
The ancient burrial traditions can be viewed a The
Catacombs. Corridors of dead bodies, on shelves. A unique experience.
