DJ SKIPPER
Music producer and composer with a
previous career contact surface in the sphere of major
international artists and icons (Elton John, ABBA,
etc).
Now producing classical, pop, and rave music. Works with many
interacting sound layers, and handles bizarre and extravagance
musical ideas.
``The spanking effect in Smutsteiner
Spank appeared as a mistake, which I decided to keep and work
with. It took years before I decided to actually release the
grotesque song with the surprising climax ending," admits
Skipper. ``It's now being used in a tiny movie film, supposedly
available on the internet from late September".
``The Majestic Symphony was composed within half a day - coinsidentally the same day of the death of the
Danish Queen - and appeared to be perfect as a funeral march in a
movie. Imagine your last farewell to this world. Your friends and
foes sits in the church, pick up the casket with you, and drop you
in the hole, while the church bells disappear up there in the
distance. My musician friends laugh, and say: Oh, when the day
comes, we'll just roll in the stereo deck, and play the eight
minutes for you".
Upon the question of who Skipper has met in his career, and who has
met Skipper, names pop up: Elton John, James Brown, Kim Wilde,
Ryan Paris, Gitte, Greatful
Dead, George Martin, Kim Wilde, Bruce Springsteen E-Street band,
Eagles, George Martin, Richie Blackmore, and many more.
If you combine the income of these artists, it doesn’t even
match up with Skippers network. “Don’t Funk With
Me”, Skipper says, and this is one of his working titles on
new projects.
THE ALBUMS
The ``Safri
Spice" album is raving mad. ``Don't buy it," says DJ
SKIPPER, ``the radio stations won't play it. In fact, that's our
slogan for this album - ``the radio stations won't play Smutsteiner Spank - YOU have to
BUY IT."
The ``Conducting The Majestic End" is a classical
album, which include a wonderful composition by Mathew Fisher (Procol Harum),
and Elton John's ``Funeral For A Friend."
This album is rather death-orientated, with compositions which can
bring you into a sad moode. ``I wouldn't
be surprised if Majestic Symphony will be used at funerals
all over the world."
The tune ``Ave Maria & Joseph" is a perfect new
composition which can take the place of Mr. Gonoud's
wonderful tune.
``All recordings on this album are created with the
my new developed modern form of classical sound. This may
set a new trend in people's perception of sound related to
classical music."
The ``Conducting Elgar" album
is created to grasp the atmosphere of Elgar's
Pomp and Circumstance. Do note that DJ SKIPPER changes the
pitch, and is loyal to the refrain only. ``Yeah, it's a merry
singing along tune this way. Hope all people of the world will
sing-along and do karaokee at
tea-time."

The ``First" album is a new love-song album introducing
the heavy-metal song ``Station - Love Is A Blind Thing".
``I recall the basics of the song was
composed in Earls
Court
at a cheap youth hostel hotel. At first I thought that Meatloaf or Europe should perform
it, however, we never presented it to them. Now they may add it to
their repertoire, if they wish."
``La Cha Cha Cha",
which is a crazy tango for the Finish people, was written in a
train through Germany.
``d'Up With You" was
originally composed on request for disco artist Jaki
Graham. The song strengthen the woman, saying: I caught you in
the act, and I don't approve. The demo-artist, LouiseLouise,
does however such a wonderful interpretation of the song, that we decided to keep it, as it didn't
fit the Jaki Graham image. LouiseLouise's voice really emphasise
the ``fuck-you" when she sings ``d'up
with you". You can actually SEE her finger - it's amazingly
into her voice - and she's also womanishly hurt.
``Kissing The DJ" and ``Kissing The Majesty"
is a romantic oldfashion album series.
Soft music. The whole ``kissing-series" will be released along
the way. Famous tunes. Instrumental.
The ``Helly's Song" is
a beautiful tune presented in five variations. ``I was amazed that
it'd never been published before. When I tested it before a live
audience, I repeatedly noticed that everyone hummed the song as if
they'd known it for years. It's like the Deer Hunter Theme.
Everyone likes it - young or old. Maybe some major country artists
will put it on their repertoire. The song is a natural
success."
The ``Baby O'Baby"
project was one of the orginal dance
projects. It brought us in contact with the DJ Aligator
Project, because we could use the tight drums from Ali. ``He's a
very inovative music guy", says
Skipper.
The Baby singer performing on the track is a kind of shy girl.
Imagine that she'd perform for an audience of 60.000 people with The
Pope, and then she gets shy. We call her ``J".
DJ SKIPPER & AQUA
During conversations with ABBA manager, Mr. Stig
Andersson, DJ SKIPPER brainstorm the name
AQUA for a musical group.
The group wasn’t shaped, however, it
had to be a musical group with a pop influence.
At the time a political harassment delayed the project, which,
however, was introduced in Cannes
early 1990’ies through the personal assistant of Mr. Bubber. The large global network to press
people of course paved the yellow brick road for the pop band.
On June
4th 1996 Mr. Hardy Ege is at a party with Mr. Brian, and discuss the matter of a talented pop band, who
wishes to perform on local stages. The musical group, however,
lacked a fantastic name.
DJ SKIPPER informed, that the name AQUA was used by him in Cannes,
because it was a very good a noticeable name. DJ SKIPPER’s girlfriend in 1996 had a
cousin, who knew a similar band (turned
out to be the same group) who
lacked a good name. Again, DJ SKIPPER kindly informed that he (and
we) used the name in Cannes during MIDEM.
Wooosh, suddenly, there was a band
launched with the named AQUA in 1996,
